Chelsea's 18-year-old English left-back Lewis Hall has recently emerged as an option in Eddie Howe's ongoing search for reinforcements in that area, according to an exclusive from NUFC Blog.

Their source is apparently "close to Newcastle's recruitment team", with Eddie Howe said to be a "big admirer" of the young full-back.

NUFC Blog also broke the club's interest in Tino Livramento, with an "exclusive" about the Southampton right-back similar to the Hall one published way back on Tuesday the 6th of June.

Hall, who is rumoured to be a Magpies fan despite being born in Slough, already follows multiple Newcastle players and the club itself on his Instagram account:

He also shares an agent, Wasserman, with new signing Harvey Barnes, Livramento, Howe, and Harrison Ashby, which has raised people's suspicions that a transfer could be in the offing.

With a move for Kieran Tierney of Arsenal having seemingly hit the buffers due to Arsenal's asking price, Hall looks to be an excellent and obviously much younger alternative in an area where we clearly need to strengthen.

Here's a reel of highlights from his breakthrough 2022/23 season with Chelsea:

We'll have more on this one as it develops.
