Newcastle United host Sheffield United at St James' Park in the Premier League in a good old 3pm kick-off with no live UK TV coverage.

If Newcastle take all three points today that will condemn Sheffield United back to the Championship while boosting the Magpies' chance of European qualification.

Eddie Howe needs a performance out of his players after Wednesday night's abysmal 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

To do this, the Newcastle boss has made a couple of changes to the lineup following that dismal display.

We weren't far off

Back to a good old 4-3-3

Emil Krafth is out and Tino Livramento returns to the starting lineup. We had hoped this would be the case but Eddie Howe's press conference led us to believe that Tino wasn't quite ready. Well played, Eddie. Well played.

Lewis Hall get a start too, meaning our two young full-backs get a chance to give us a glimpse of the future.

As suspected, Harvey Barnes has been dropped in favour of moving Anthony Gordon to the left and reinstating Jacob Murphy to the right. We honestly don't know what kompromat Murphy has on Howe, but it must be damning.

Today's the day for Elliot Anderson to score

Alexander Isak leads the line again and will be hoping to bag a goal or two to keep his Golden Boot push alive. With the Magpies putting eight past the Blades last time out, he should be feeling confident going in.

In fact, it would be the ideal game for Elliot Anderson to bag his first senior goal.

Sheffield United have also released their team news and to be honest, I couldn't tell you if it's strong or not. The only players I've heard of are Ben Brereton Diaz, Mason Holgate and Wes Foderingham.

Honestly, if we don't win this, what are we doing?
