Premier League announce 2024/25 fixture release date as Newcastle prepare for next season

June looks like it will be an important month for Newcastle United.

At the start of the month our first kits with new kit supplier Adidas will be revealed.

Throughout June, the Magpies will be focussing on bringing in new signings to bolster their squad to help tackle the injury woes of the 2023/24 campaign.

Now, the Premier League have announced the date that fixtures for the 2024/25 season will be released.

Fixtures will be released on 18 June 2024

That's the date! Newcastle will learn their fate for the season in under two months.

It seems like a while away but that date will come fast.

The announcement will be at 9am, so get that in your calendars.

Newcastle started this season at St James' Park against Aston Villa, the Magpies finished the weekend top of the table after securing a 5-1 win.

A boxing day game against Nottingham Forest and a New Year's Day game away at Liverpool followed.

The Toon will travel to London for a game against Brentford on May 19th, the final day of the season.

Who will Newcastle play on the opening day of the 2024/25 season?

We don't know the answer to that just yet. But that doesn't stop us from making a prediction.

I'll go for Wolves away. Not the best fixture you could ask for but it's always a start.

In terms of the last game of the season? Let's say West Ham at home. A nice home game to see us over the line for the season.
