It never ends. Bruno Guimaraes has once again been linked with a move way from Newcastle United as latest reports suggest things have stepped up.

Not a day goes by that some outlet or another has a report stating that some club or another are interested in Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes.

Despite all the evidence pointing to the contrary, so many journalists are adamant that the Brazilian will be offski this summer.

TalkSPORT are the latest to jump on the bandwagon, and they've upped the game by claiming that Paris Saint-Germain have entered talks with Bruno's representatives over a move.

"Look, Kylian, instead of me coming to you, why don't you come here?"

PSG have a one-month window to activate Bruno's £100m release clause

Fabrizio Romano revealed last night that Bruno's release clause is only active between the end of May and the end of June and disappears before the new Financial Fair Play reporting year kicks in, meaning if anyone wants to take advantage of the clause, they must have £100million left in their budget from this year which massively narrows down the scope.

We speculated that one club who could maybe afford £100m this year is PSG and it seems TalkSPORT have had the same thought.

While it's possible that PSG have entered talks with Bruno's representatives, we're fairly confident that nothing will come of it, despite TalkSPORT's insistence that Bruno is 'desperate' to play in the Champions League.

We know all about Bruno's ambitions

We've always known that about Bruno, and indeed he did play in the Champions League next season, and while it's unlikely that we will be next season, it's clear that's the club's aim also. In fact, when Bruno signed he would have been told that we planned to get back into the Champions League in a few years, so he will have been as shocked as everyone that it happened in his first full season.

Bruno is aware of the project at Newcastle, he is committed to the club, he is settled in the area and he's just bought a new house. None of this indicates to us that he has any intention of leaving us just yet.

We, like Eddie Howe, are aware that if we can't match Bruno's ambitions he will move, but it's just not happening yet. Howe has said as much, as quoted by TalkSPORT.

“My intention would be to keep Bruno for as long as we possibly can because I can.

“But I can never make guarantees because that would be absolutely foolish of me. I’ve been in football long enough to know you never know what is going to happen tomorrow.

"But he’s an integral part of the team and playing really well at the moment.

"A lot will depend on our ambitions and where the club is going in the foreseeable future. We need to show we’re moving forward.”
