Young guns at the back and 'Notorious B.I.G.' up front - Our predicted NUFC lineup to face Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Wednesday night - Kick-off is 8pm.

Newcastle still have a mountain of injury problems, mainly affecting the back four and the midfield, but we still think there's a solid starting XI that Eddie Howe can put out to take on in-form Crystal Palace.

In the last game against Tottenham Hotspur we had similar injury issues but still managed to emerge with a 4-0 win, and this time out we'd go as far to say we could put out a stronger team this time, albeit just ever so slightly.

We expect Tino Livramento in for Jacob Murphy and Lewis Hall back in the starting XI

Tino Livramento, who was apparently close to a return against Spurs should be back in action tomorrow, as will Lewis Hall who also missed the Spurs gain, which will see a rejig at the back, but everything in front will stay the same.

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka - The Slovakian is going for his third consecutive clean sheet against a side who haven't scored against Newcastle in over 500 minutes.

Defence

Tino Livramento - Howe could go cautious and start Jacob Murphy at right-back again and save Tino as an impact sub, but we'd throw him in from the start.

Fabian Schar - Who else?

Dan Burn - Big Dan Burn has looked so much better since stepping back into his usual centre-back role, let's keep him there.

Lewis Hall - The youngster was feeling a bit of fatigue going into the Spurs game, unsurprising given his lack of action this season, but he should be back on Wednesday night.

Midfield

Sean Longstaff - He only needs one foot, apparently. Still playing through the pain.

Bruno Guimaraes - After surviving the game against Spurs without a booking, Bruno is free to kick seven bells out of everyone again. I mean, we hope he doesn't, but you know.

Elliot Anderson - The Geordie Maradona has been excellent since returning from injury. Long may it continue.

Forwards

Anthony Gordon - Gordon showed against Spurs that it really doesn't matter where he plays across the front line, he gets the job done, so another game on the right for him on Wednesday.

Alexander Isak - He's got some catching up to do in the race for Golden Boot so he'd better keep banging them in.

Harvey Barnes - Completing the Notorious B.I.G. (Thanks Craig Hope), Barnes rounds out one of the fiercest looking attacks in the Premier League.

It'll be another weak bench for Newcastle United

We expect that the bench is going to be as weak as my jokes but we hope that Callum Wilson will be the standout on there along with Jacob Murphy (or Tino Livramento depending on which way Howe goes with it).

To be fair, we've managed most of the season without any decent options off the bench, so it's nothing new at this point.

That starting XI should be more than capable of getting the job done, however the task should not be underestimated as Palace come into this one off the back of two consecutive victories against Liverpool and West Ham.
