Today Anthony Gordon was named in WhoScored?'s Premier League Team of the Week with a rating of 10 for his performance against Tottenham Hotspur.

The rapid winger bagged himself a goal and provided two assists on Saturday as an Eddie Howe tactical masterclass put Ange Postecoglu's Spurs to the sword.

A 10/10 is a rare thing in football, but WhoScored? have just posted on X that only one player has ever received a 10 without a goal contribution since they started up in 2009.

That player was playing for Newcastle United at the time.

It was one of those performances you never forget

Tim Krul's heroics, once again, against Tottenham back in 2013/14 season saw the Dutch goalkeeper bestowed with that honour.

His 10/10 performance came as he kept out 14 Spurs shots in that game, the most by any 'keeper in the Premier League at the time, a record that still stands today.

Thanks to Krul's amazing reflexes and dogged determination, Newcastle were somehow able to hold on for a 1-0 win despite Tottenham's best efforts.

Krul is now at Premier League side Luton Town

Back in the Premier League with Luton Town at the age of 36, Tim Krul is consigned to the bench mostly but is used by Rob Edwards in cup matches.

Krul left Newcastle in 2017 to move to Brighton before moving on to Norwich City a year later after making just five appearances for the Seagulls.

His time at Norwich saw him make 169 appearances while keeping 47 clean sheets, close to his totals for Newcastle where he made 185 appearances keeping 53 clean sheets, including that one game where he made 14 saves.
