Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing AC Milan's 16-year-old wonderkid Francesco Camarda who recently became the youngest ever Serie A player.

Camarda; who turned 16 recently, can now sign his first professional contract and while he won't be able to join a club in England until he turns 18, there are a number of clubs keeping tabs on his progress.

According to Calciomercato, Newcastle and Arsenal are two teams who are keen on getting the young Italian to put pen to paper.

Newcastle have made a habit of signing young talents since being taken over in 2021, and Camarda is no exception. In fact, he has the potential to be the best player out of the lot.

Camarda has played (and scored) against Newcastle before.

Camarda is no stranger to a game against Newcastle. The young Italian scored a brace against the Magpies U-19s side in the UEFA Youth League in September.

He also featured in Newcastle's 3-1 win against Milan in the reverse fixture at Whitley Park in December.

Although his contribution to the December game was fairly minimal, like Santiago Munez in GOAL: The Dream Begins. He had a moment of magic when he performed a magnificent scorpion kick to send one of his team mates through. It was glorious.

His Youth League performances proved that he can be a first team player very soon, Newcastle and Arsenal are so confident that they have reportedly said that they want him in the first team within two years.

Italian Sandro Tonali could help him settle into life on Tyneside.

Tonali is no stranger to a nice time in Newcastle. In August he was famously spotted enjoying a Wetherspoons in Gosforth.

The fact that a fellow Italian is at the club is key should Camarda join, making a move like that at such a young age is understandably daunting just like it would have been for Tonali.

For the time being, Camarda remains a Milan player until at least 2026. It wouldn't surprise me if scouts are send to Italy in the near future to watch him.
