Sometimes a social media post comes along that's so beautiful, so magnificent that is just has to be brought to everyone's attention.

Today Newcastle United's official X account has delivered a thing of wonder by sharing a video compilation of every one of Alexander Isak's 21 goals so far this season which they have also posted on YouTube.

The post simply says "Sit back and enjoy" and you know what? I did, and I enjoyed it so much I watched it again.

I too invite you to give it a watch as it is three minutes and 29 seconds of magnificence and proves how we absolutely stole a world-class player from Real Sociedad.

Newcastle have the best all-round forward in the Premier League - change my mind

Alexander Isak may have cost Newcastle £63million when we signed him, but we'd want at least double that to even entertain the idea of selling him now. Not that we should be even thinking along those lines, mind.

While amongst the 21 goals, there's the odd poacher's goal, so many of them show just how phenomenal a player Isak is. It's not just how calm he is in front of goal, it's how he can bring the ball under his spell and absolutely baffle defenders and goalkeepers. He must be a nightmare to go up against one-on-one.

It was mentioned by TNT Sports on Saturday that he's one goal away from breaking the record of most goals scored by a Swedish player in the Premier League. That record is currently held by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Isak's not done yet, that Golden Boot is there for the taking

Isak currently sits third in the Premier League top scorers charts on 17 goals behind Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa on 19 and Man City's Erling Haaland on 20, which is phenomenal when you think just how many games he's missed through injury and how many he's played when clearly not at 100%.

If we can keep Isak fit for an entire season the hype around Erling Haaland could switch to our Swedish maestro. He might not be as young as Haaland, sure, but he's just as good a finisher and his all-round play is definitely better.

We hope he can get himself a hat trick before the season is out, it's the one thing he's missing, plus that would really put him up there in the running for the Golden Boot.
