Newcastle United are among a quartet of Premier League clubs interested in Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush.

The Egyptian international has been in great form in the Bundesliga this season and as a result, Premier League clubs are now circling with a view to a summer transfer.

Along with Newcastle, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are also keen on the 25-year-old centre-forward, and Frankfurt are very aware they could have a bidding war on their hands.

It's thought that Frankfurt won't stand in his way of a move, but they will obviously want to make sure they're getting as much as they can for him.

Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to cash in on Marmoush this summer

Sport Bild (via Fussball Transfers) has reported that Frankfurt would want negotiations to start at €50million (£43million) and with four of the Premier League's big hitters interested, they may well get their wish.

Marmoush has 15 goals and six assists in all competitions this season from 33 appearances which has been enough to put the Premier League on notice.

The forward joined Frankfurt on a free from Wolfsburg at the start of the season and now look set to rake in a huge profit from his sale on year on.

Newcastle need to take some risks this summer

Marmoush looks exactly like the type of player we need at Newcastle on paper, but the difference between the Bundesliga and the Premier League is one that only a few players have managed to navigate with credibility.

At upwards of £40million it would be a risk for Eddie Howe who prefers his players Premier League proven, but finding Premier League strikers is a costly business so it's time we started to take a risk in the transfer market. Surely they knew that Alexander Isak would be a risk and that turned out pretty well. Injuries aside.

The Magpies will definitely need to add to their forward line in the summer and more and more names are being linked with the club suggesting that the work to identify targets has begun in earnest.
